Multivariate regression

The final multivariable models were constructed using a sequential block entry approach: The socio-demographic baseline anchor block: (Age, gender, race/ethnicity, education, income, marital status, and country of birth) was forced into a single “baseline” model to handle background confounding. Laboratory markers: were entered group-wise into the basic model to evaluate separately the impact of each group of biochemical markers on the taste problem.
We employed the Complex Samples Logistic Regression model to perform the multivariate regression. Associations are expressed as Adjusted Odds Ratios (aOR) with corresponding 95 % Confidence Intervals (CI).
