Penang’s OHCA survival rate remains low despite bystander CPR being performed in nearly half of all EMS-treated cases. Prolonged EMS response times and low rates of AED deployment is likely to contribute to low survival and are targets for intervention. The myOHCA2.0 platform has provided a sustainable, standardised data infrastructure needed to drive OHCA quality improvement initiatives in Malaysia.
