In summary, this study contributes novel insights into the tumor suppressive functions of IQGAP2 in ESCC through modulation of the MEK/ERK MAPK pathway (Figure 5). Our findings extend the growing body of literature identifying IQGAP2 as a critical regulator of tumorigenesis and provide a rationale for further investigation of IQGAP2 as a therapeutic target in ESCC.
