Conclusion

High levels of public awareness and acceptance of organ donation were observed across diverse demographic groups in KSA, revealing a distinct gap between favorable attitudes and official registration. To bridge this intention-to-action gap, literature supports simplifying the registration process and implementing targeted outreach in educational and workplace settings. Public health initiatives should adopt these strategies to facilitate formal registration. Moreover, qualitative research is also necessary to identify the precise barriers that hinder registration, enabling the translation of positive public attitudes into tangible action.
