The findings of this scoping review characterize vibration therapy as a physiological stimulus with a measurable acute effect on SBF that is influenced by delivery method, anatomical site, and specific treatment parameters. While the current literature suggests potential for VT to modulate microcirculation, these observations are based primarily on transient, single-session laboratory data rather than sustained or clinically validated outcomes. Therefore, VT should be viewed as a high-priority area for future research rather than an established clinical intervention. To move beyond speculative interpretation of data, future studies must investigate whether acute, laboratory-observed changes in SBF translate into meaningful outcomes for tissue viability and wound healing. Establishing this link is a prerequisite for defining the therapeutic potential of VT in a clinical setting.
