p53 expression was frequently observed in prostate adenocarcinoma. It did not show a consistent association with tumor grade or malignant status. In contrast, Ki-67 expression demonstrated a significant association with tumor grade and effectively differentiated benign from malignant prostatic lesions using the histopathological and immunohistochemical methods. These findings suggest that Ki-67 may serve as a useful adjunct to routine histopathological evaluation, particularly in cases with intermediate Gleason scores.
