Transformations

• Preserved source wording, spelling, punctuation, order, and plain-text emphasis markers.
• Normalised mechanical whitespace and line wrapping, while preserving diagrams and tables verbatim.
• Added semantic section files, stable routes, source-fragment links, and deterministic anchors.
• Preserved the frozen source transcription except for exact, count-bound corrections recorded against the original scan.
• Removed Wikisource navigation, licensing chrome, scan-availability notice, layout label, links, and page-number markup.
• Compared all 3,586 normalized source words against the exact 1922 scan; 3,550 matched OCR directly and the remaining 36 were visually attributable to OCR word breaks, headers, the g-mu-nu symbol, or page boundaries.
• Corrected three scan-confirmed transcription defects: one misplaced em dash, in vacua to in vacuo, and a stray quote-space in quasi-rigid.
• Preserved the address subtitle, paragraph order, emphasis, Greek letter beta, and g-mu-nu notation.
