Rights & sources

Web Editions keeps source provenance visible and provides a direct path for corrections or removal.

Sources

Reviewed editions name the original author, publication, web source, and presentation changes. Uploaded readers retain the source PDF privately and provide a source route for checking wording, layout, and pagination.

Fidelity and corrections

Source text and editorial material remain distinct. Reviewed corrections are source-compared. Machine-extracted uploads say when their text layer is incomplete and fall back to source pages.

Contact and removal

Every user-shared reader includes a “Report a rights or source problem” form. Reports enter the private moderation queue with the reader ID and details supplied by the reporter. Uploaders can copy or download a recovery key and use it to remove their own reader; removal also deletes the private source object and extracted text.
