Sports-related knee injuries continue to represent a significant challenge in athletic populations due to their high incidence, prolonged recovery periods, and substantial risk of reinjury. The evidence indicates that contemporary rehabilitation approaches incorporating emerging technologies and innovative exercise interventions can significantly enhance recovery outcomes. Advanced strategies such as neuromuscular training, real-time biofeedback, blood flow restriction training, progressive tendon-loading protocols, inertial flywheel resistance training, personalized exercise prescription, and structured injury-prevention programs demonstrated positive effects on pain reduction, muscle strength, proprioception, balance, functional performance, and return-to-sport readiness. These interventions promote a more individualized, objective, and function-oriented approach to rehabilitation, thereby optimizing recovery and athletic performance. Furthermore, technology-assisted rehabilitation may improve movement quality, enhance neuromuscular control, and contribute to reducing the risk of recurrent injury. While the current evidence supports the integration of these innovative approaches into sports rehabilitation practice, further high-quality RCTs with standardized outcome measures and long-term follow-up are warranted to establish their long-term effectiveness and clinical applicability.
